(1).Definition of Fact

    Fact is a statement in the form of a real situation of an event that occurred. Facts contain something that really exists and the statement of a fact is usually difficult for anyone to refute.

• Characteristics of Facts: 

1. Can be proven true 

2. Contains quantitative and qualitative data 

3. Has accurate data both time, date, place and event 

4. Collected from resource persons.

5. Objective,

6. Usually able to answer the 5W + 1H question formula 

7. Stating events that are or have been and have been

8.information comes from real events

 •There has been a flood in North Jakarta which caused the death toll as many as 14 people.

(2).Definition of Opinion

   Opinions are statements that are not necessarily true. Opinions are generally based on someone's opinion or idea in response to an event or problem. 

• Characteristics of Opinion:

 1. Can not be proven true.

 2. Subjective in nature and usually accompanied by opinions, suggestions and descriptions that explain

 3. Does not have a source.

 4. Contains opinions about events that occurred

5. Indicates an event that is not certain to occur or will occur in the future

 6. It is a thought or opinion of a person or group

 7. The information submitted has no proof.

8. Usually marked by the use of the words: maybe, it seems, maybe, should, preferably

 example=

 •Ketoprak is the most delicious food in Indonesia.
