Fact 
 1. Definition of fact 
Fact is a statements that are true and can be verified objectively or proven. In other words, a fact is true and correct no matter what.

Example of fact: 
• Car has four wheels.
(mobil memiliki empat roda).

• Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia.
(Jakarta adalah Ibukota Indonesia).

• Cat is a mammals.
(Kucing adalah mamalia).
  
 2.features of fact sentences 
  • Fact sentences contain facts whose truth can be proven and verified by anyone. 
  • Fact sentences contain accurate information or data about an event, such as the time of the incident and the location of the incident. 
  • Sentences of fact are objective, meaning that the data displayed is true to reality, not artificial, impartial, and not influenced by the personal views or subjectivity of the author. 
  • Fact sentences can usually answer 5W + 1H (what, where, when, who, why, and how). 
  • Fact sentences are usually accompanied by numerical data that shows statistics or the actual number in an event.

Opinion 
 1.Definition of opinion 
Opinion, unlike facts, are neither true nor false. An opinion can express a belief, attitude, value, judgment, or feeling. 

Example of opinion: 
• It will rain today, because the sky is cloudy.(Hari ini akan hujan karena langit mendung). 

• Women are smarter than men.
(perempuan lebih pintar dari pada laki-laki). 

• Learning English is easier than learning German.
(mempelajar bahasa Inggris lebih mudah dari pada mempelajari bahsa jerman) 

2. Features of opinion sentences 
  • Opinion sentences cannot or cannot be proven true. 
  • Opinion sentences are subjective, which are usually followed by opinions, suggestions, and descriptions that explain the author's view of a problem or event. 
  • The opinion sentence is based on personal opinion, not based on competent and credible sources. 
  • The opinion sentence contains the author's response to a problem or event. 
  • Opinion sentences indicate events that are not certain to occur. 
  • Opinion sentences usually use words that are uncertain. For example, maybe, taste or like. 
  • Opinion sentences also usually use words that are suggestive or solution. For example, should or should.
